As we close another year of progress toward effective treatments for ME/CFS and Long COVID, we want to share with you what your support has made possible
Thanks to the strength of the global OMF network and the leadership of Dr Chris Armstrong at the Melbourne ME/CFS Collaboration, this has been a significant year for the program.
Highlights include:
🧬 Publication of the mGWAS study in iScience, linking genetic variation to metabolic dysfunction in ME/CFS and helping identify future biological targets.
📚 Eight peer-reviewed papers published or accepted from the Melbourne ME/CFS Collaboration, and nineteen across all OMF research centres, with the Melbourne team emerging as one of the most productive ME/CFS research groups globally.
🔬 Activation of TOTEM, our flagship translational program, with participant recruitment now underway through the ME Research Clinic in Melbourne.
The report covers much more. This year’s theme is Momentum into Outcomes, and we hope you enjoy reading it.
We’ll share more about what comes next in the weeks ahead. Thank you for being part of the OMF Australia community.
