← Discoveries for ME
I’d like to be a discoverer
You’re going discovering.
Maybe someone you care about asked you, or maybe you offered. Either way, you’ve landed on a tiny mission together: a small piece of the world to bring back to someone you’re thinking of.
There are no kilometres to complete, targets to hit or special places you need to visit. Just keep the mission in mind as you go about your day.
When you find it, bring it back.
Three ways to take part
- Keep it private. Text it. Email it. Post it. Bring it over. Send a voice note. Tell them about it. Done.
- Share your discovery. Post your photo or video using #DiscoveriesForME and tag Open Medicine Foundation Australia (@openmedfaustralia). Only name the person or share their health story if they have explicitly agreed.
- Make your discoveries do more. If you want to, create a fundraising page and invite friends and family to support ME/CFS and Long COVID research while you share what you find.
However your discovery arrives, digital, posted or in person, is the recipient’s choice. A photo or a voice note is every bit as much a discovery as a visit.
Start a fundraising pageFundraising is optional. Discoveries for ME is, first and foremost, about connection.
